LOCAL NORTH WALES & LLANDUDNO ATTRACTIONS During your stay in Llandudno, visit the Great Orme summit, either by walking for the adventurous, cable car for the brave or by the 100 year old tram for the more sedate. While you are there why not visit the dry Ski slope & Toboggan Run and include a drink at the Swiss style Bar / Restaurant which has magnificent views. Walk along to the Haulfre gardens rising up from the base of the Great Orme. Beautifully maintained gardens with plenty of seating areas and a café with superb views serving delicious snacks. The Kings Head which is the oldest Pub in town located behind the tram station is well worth a visit. Take a stroll along the promenade and superbly preserved Victorian Pier which in summer enjoys entertainment at the pier end bar. If you are looking for entertainment, spend an evening at the North Wales Theatre, a must-visit with world class acts performing all year round. The Welsh mountain Zoo which has many interesting exhibits and is in a wonderful setting, only 10 minutes drive. The walled Harbour town of Conwy with its impressive Castle, smallest house in Britain and Plas Mawr the best preserved Elizabethan house in Britain, again, only about 10 minutes drive.
